Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Supervisor to lead our team of technical professionals in delivering exceptional live event experiences. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of events, providing exceptional customer service, and mentoring and developing our technical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Operation: Responsible for the accurate and timely setup, operation, and breakdown of intermediate audiovisual equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly as they arise.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service and strive to exceed the expectations and needs of internal and external customers.
  • Training and Development: Assist in training technicians on all floor activities and on hotel and Encore service expectations.
  • Operations Management: Organize the daily floor activities to ensure the timely set up, refresh and removal of equipment.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred, 3-5 years of audio visual experience required.
  • Certifications: Achieve Technical Level 3 Certification per Encore Technical Skillset Matrix.
  • Skills: Knowledge of technical theory, advanced problem-solving skills, experience leading workflow and team members.
Work Environment

Work is performed in a hotel/convention center environment with moderate exposure to outdoor temperatures and to dirt, sand and/or dust. The working conditions will vary between moderately quiet to noisy volumes.
