Job Summary:
Orbis Operations is seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer to support its government customer in delivering high-quality training programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and conducting customized training classes, creating online training materials, and providing direct user support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver training programs for small and large audiences, utilizing various tools and technologies.
- Assist users in learning new tools and applying them to their workflow, ensuring seamless integration and adoption.
- Collaborate with the user community to identify training needs across the Intelligence Community (IC) and National Security Agency (NSA).
- Work closely with development teams to ensure accuracy and relevance of training materials.
- Develop technical training materials, including online web-based training, distance learning presentations, training plans, courses, and training manuals.
- Prepare and maintain operations documentation, user guides, and manuals, as well as technical publications.
- Gather technical information and prepare written text for various audiences.
- Utilize multiple word processing and presentation tools, such as MS Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Coordinate layout and design of documents, ensuring compliance with 508 standards.
- Maintain a current internal documentation library.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience with SIGINT mission analytic tools.
- Proficiency in JIRA and Confluence.
Requirements:
- Current Top Secret/Secret Clearance with polygraph required.
- High School diploma or equivalent, plus 2 years of experience in the IC conducting training of technical materials in classrooms, courses, workshops, and/or seminars, or training users of computer applications in their operational settings.
- Experience as a technical writer.
