Key Responsibilities

A Day in the Life of a Regional Operations Manager:

As a Regional Operations Manager at Liberty Military Housing, you will oversee the management of large or multi-site residential communities. Your role will focus on ensuring the financial success of the properties, supervising on-site staff, and delivering a high-quality living experience for residents. You will possess comprehensive knowledge of property operations and ensure that all personnel adhere to safety standards while providing exceptional service aligned with our customer satisfaction goals.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Leadership:

  • Recruit, schedule, and mentor the on-site team, including administrative and maintenance staff.
  • Assess staff efficiency and provide ongoing training, coaching, and supportive leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and timely completion of required training.

Operational/Administrative:

  • Manage the community budget and achieve operational, financial, and occupancy targets, overseeing all district financial matters.
  • Maintain effective communication with vendors regarding scheduling, billing, and insurance requirements.
  • Oversee all capital improvement projects, including approvals and inspections.
  • Engage in outreach marketing activities to attract prospective residents.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure maintenance standards are met.
  • Ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and projects.
  • Promote a safe environment by reporting hazards and adhering to safety regulations.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and company policies.

Resident Relations:

  • Address resident concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the community services team to implement resident engagement initiatives.
  • Enforce community policies and take corrective actions when necessary.

Qualifications for Success:

What You Need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in property management, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated leadership, customer service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Preferred certifications: Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM).
  • Must obtain Fair Housing certification within two weeks of employment.
  • Experience with budget management and financial operations.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks to meet operational goals.
  • Professional demeanor in all business interactions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel as needed.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and emergencies.

Compensation Range: $73,000 - $99,400 Annually
