Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Planner to contribute to our operational excellence. The Mechanical Planner will be responsible for developing and assembling comprehensive job packages that guarantee the safe and efficient execution of project scopes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Ensuring compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) standards and applicable local regulations.
  • Utilizing specialized tools to identify safe access methods, thereby minimizing risk to personnel.
  • Maintaining job package accuracy to eliminate errors and omissions.
  • Ensuring job package content aligns with established guidelines, including necessary documentation such as flange tags and Bill of Materials.
  • Reviewing maintenance orders for technical completeness and clarity, returning incomplete orders for further detail.
  • Conducting field assessments to verify conditions and ensure equipment matches the job requirements.
  • Confirming that all components meet specifications, including dimensions and constructability, and addressing any discrepancies with operations.
  • Accurately documenting job steps, man-hours, and costs in SAP, including reviewing contractor requirements.
  • Collaborating with engineering services to streamline inspection scopes and support needs, preventing changes during execution.
  • Minimizing contingencies and optimizing planned hours and costs.
  • Updating job package documents with necessary annotations and verifying consistency with field conditions.
  • For long lead-time or non-stocked parts, coordinating with vendors to ensure accurate quotes and timely delivery.
  • Validating purchase orders with relevant subject matter experts prior to ordering.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with SAP software.
  • Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities.
