Position Overview: This role may be filled as a Maintenance Operator (MO), MO 1, 2, 3, 4, Journeyman Maintenance Operator (JMO), or MO Tech, depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform mechanical tasks related to the inspection, repair, installation, testing, adjustment, and calibration of meters, instruments, and combustion control equipment.
  • Conduct electrical work involving the inspection, repair, or installation of electrical equipment in generating stations and substations.
  • Operate and maintain turbo-generator and boiler systems, ensuring safe operation of auxiliary equipment.
  • Engage in routine maintenance and testing of various mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports related to operations and maintenance activities.
  • Assist in laboratory work and routine inspections of equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Qualifications:

MO: No prior experience required.

JMO - MO Tech: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in power plant operations and maintenance.
  • Familiarity with mechanical measuring devices, electrical principles, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to perform complex operations and maintain a thorough understanding of plant systems.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and emergency response procedures.
Physical Requirements:

MO: Minimum age of 18.

JMO - MO Tech: Must possess physical strength and endurance for demanding tasks.

Personal Attributes:
  • Strong observational skills to identify hazards and prevent accidents.
  • Willingness to participate in safety training and meetings.
  • Ability to work under various conditions and adapt to changing environments.

Certifications:
