KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Ensuring that job plans comply with Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) standards as well as any applicable local regulations that may be more stringent.
  • Employing the Elevated Work Access Selection Tool to identify safe alternative access methods, thereby minimizing risks to personnel.
  • Maintaining job package accuracy, aiming for zero errors and omissions, and avoiding any field modifications.
  • Confirming that job package contents align with GMWP Step Job Plan Package requirements, including necessary documentation such as flange tags, Bill of Materials, and specifications for torque and piping.
  • Reviewing Plant Maintenance (PM) orders for technical completeness and clarity, returning any incomplete orders to the appropriate gatekeeper.
  • Conducting field walks to verify conditions and ensure that equipment aligns with the defined job scope, even if the plan was sourced from archived records.
  • Validating that all components meet the specified pipe and material standards, field dimensions, equipment orientation, and overall constructability. Any outdated or inconsistent P&IDs must be corrected with operations.
  • Ensuring accuracy in job steps, man-hours, and planned costs (including purchase order costs) within SAP, while reviewing job step durations, sequencing, support equipment needs, and contractor crew sizes.
  • Collaborating with Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) and Maintenance Engineering Services (MES) to refine or adjust inspection scopes and support requirements, ensuring no changes occur during execution.
  • Striving to minimize contingencies and additional buffers in planned man-hours and costs.
  • Updating job package documents such as P&IDs and equipment drawings, ensuring they accurately reflect the field conditions.
  • For long lead-time or non-stocked parts and equipment requiring purchase orders, obtaining quotes and lead times from vendors, updating SAP for cost accuracy, and tracking delivery statuses.
  • Confirming the accuracy of purchase orders for non-stocked parts with relevant subject matter experts before placing orders.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with SAP software
  • Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities
