KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Ensuring compliance with Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) standards and local regulations that may exceed basic EH&S requirements.
- Utilizing specialized tools to identify safe access methods, thereby minimizing risk to personnel.
- Achieving job package precision, ensuring zero errors and omissions, and avoiding field modifications.
- Confirming that job package contents align with established guidelines, including necessary documentation such as flange tags, Bill of Materials, and technical specifications.
- Reviewing maintenance orders for technical accuracy and clarity of scope, returning incomplete orders for necessary revisions.
- Conducting field inspections to validate job conditions and ensure equipment specifications match project requirements.
- Verifying that all components meet required specifications, dimensions, and constructability standards, and addressing any discrepancies with operations.
- Ensuring accuracy in job steps, estimated man-hours, and planned costs within SAP, while confirming job sequencing and resource needs.
- Collaborating with technical teams to streamline inspection processes and support requirements, preventing changes during execution.
- Reducing contingencies and optimizing planned man-hours and costs.
- Updating job package documents with necessary markings and verifying that engineering drawings correspond with field conditions.
- For long lead-time or non-stocked items, obtaining quotes and lead times from vendors, updating SAP to reflect accurate planned costs, and tracking delivery statuses.
- Validating the accuracy of purchase orders with relevant subject matter experts prior to ordering.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with SAP systems.
- Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities.
