Job Summary

The California Poison Control System (CPCS) is a 24-hour-a-day informational and emergency management advice hotline serving residents statewide in California. As an Administrative Specialist, you will be part of an integral group of professionals performing administrative and financial duties, in support of the system and specifically, the Executive Director, Business Operations Director, and IT Director.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Director, Business Operations Director, and IT Director
  • Perform financial duties, including budgeting and financial reporting
  • Assist with the development and implementation of administrative policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • High school graduation and four years of related administrative experience
  • Experience working with Excel and Word
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
