Job Title: Precision Motor Assembly Technician

Currently, the work schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts from Monday to Thursday, transitioning to five 8-hour shifts after a designated period.

Job Overview

The role involves assembling and testing precision motors utilizing both hand and power tools. Adherence to manufacturing testing protocols is essential, along with the implementation of continuous improvement strategies within the production process. Technicians will arrange components in specified configurations, either as sub-assemblies or final products, employing techniques such as soldering, fastening with clips or screws, and following detailed blueprints or schematics. The position requires flexibility to rotate among various workstations based on production demands. Additionally, there may be responsibilities related to packaging products into individual boxes and placing them on pallets. The technician will also be accountable for inspecting and measuring finished components, making necessary tooling adjustments, and managing the handling and movement of supplies and materials. Verification of external and unit labels for consistency across all packaged components is also required. Regular cleaning of equipment and workspaces is necessary, including conducting daily and weekly safety inspections of tools and machinery.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in electronic and/or mechanical assembly
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Familiarity with machine tool operations
  • Proficient in the operation of production tools and fixtures
  • Skills in soldering, hand brazing, or induction brazing
