Job Description
As a Precision Motor Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and testing precision motors utilizing both hand and power tools. Adhere to established manufacturing testing protocols while contributing innovative ideas for process enhancement.
Your role involves placing components in designated configurations, whether as sub-assemblies or final products, using methods such as soldering, clips, screws, or other fastening techniques in accordance with blueprints or schematics.
You will rotate among various workstations based on production demands and may assist in packaging products into individual boxes and cases for distribution. Additionally, you will be tasked with inspecting and measuring finished components, making necessary tooling adjustments, and managing the handling and movement of supplies and materials. It is essential to ensure that external labels and unit labels match for all packaged components. You will also maintain cleanliness of equipment and workspaces by conducting regular safety inspections.Required Skills
- Experience in electronic and/or mechanical assembly
- Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings
- Familiarity with machine tool operations
- Proficient in the operation of production tooling and fixtures
- Skills in soldering, hand brazing, or induction brazing
