Precision Swaging Technician

Enjet Aero specializes in the machining and fabrication of intricate jet engine components, parts, and assemblies for prominent OEMs across commercial, defense, and general aviation industries. Role Summary:
As a Precision Swaging Technician, you will operate Enjet's advanced Riveter and Swaging machinery to insert various bearings into manufactured materials, contributing to the assembly of Torque Boxes and other critical components supplied to our clients.
- Fabricate Torque Box Assemblies
- Install pins and Heli-coils within Torque Box Housings
- Construct adjustable arms to facilitate Torque Box Assembly using specialized fixtures
- Ensure quality assurance of assembled arms
- Complete Torque Box assembly, perform self-inspections, and prepare for final inspection
Required Skills:
- Ability to handle, manipulate, and assemble small detailed components
- Proficient in using hand tools (wrenches, pliers, etc.)
- Experience with powered hand tools (battery-operated drills and similar equipment)
- Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to learn to interpret operation sheets and work instructions
- Familiarity with inspection gauges to confirm dimensional specifications
- Comfortable operating Riveter/Swaging machinery
- Potential to operate manual Bridgeport Mills or lathes
- May require use of hydraulic presses
- Open to performing additional tasks as necessary (cleaning, deburring parts, washing components, organizing workspaces, etc.)
