Position Summary:

The Senior Fire Safety Sales Consultant plays a crucial role in advocating and selling fire safety products to a varied customer base, which includes commercial, industrial, and retail sectors. This position is ideal for seasoned outside sales professionals, and we provide extensive training on our offerings. Key responsibilities encompass building strong client relationships, keeping up with industry developments, and consistently meeting sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seek and pursue new business avenues within the fire safety solutions sector.
  • Collaborate with General Contractors and Electrical Contractors on new construction projects and proposals.
  • Establish relationships with new General Contractors & Electrical Contractor clients.
  • Engage in industry associations to foster new connections and clientele.
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' fire safety requirements.
  • Deliver tailored fire safety solutions to clients.
  • Leverage bid software to uncover new opportunities.
  • Maintain NICET certification or achieve NICET Level 2 certification.
  • Develop and sustain strong client relationships to promote long-term partnerships.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, innovative technologies, and competitive products in fire safety.
  • Achieve and surpass sales goals through effective prospecting and closing techniques.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales team to fulfill overall company objectives.
  • Provide outstanding customer service to ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Notifier, Silent Knight, and Firelite product lines is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in Fire Sales (Preferred).
  • Valid Driver's License (Required).
  • Ability to obtain IL Dept of Labor PERC card, which necessitates a background check.
