Job Title: Neighborhood Partnerships Manager

Feeding San Diego is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neighborhood Partnerships Manager to oversee our community partner network and ensure the success of our direct-to-partner food donation programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning, budgeting, logistics, monitoring, and evaluation of the community partner network
  • Directly supervise six full-time staff who are responsible for coordinating direct-to-partner food donation relationships and community partnerships
  • Adhere to all Feeding America requirements and national, state, and local regulations governing program compliance and food safety
  • Maintain strong relationships with all other FSD departments involved in ensuring the success of community partner distributions and direct-to-partner food donations
  • Manage and facilitate communication and relevant trainings for neighborhood partners
  • Conduct evaluation of and develop strategies to maintain positive customer relations experience for partners
  • Identify, expand, and strengthen external relationships with community partners in targeted communities identified by data-driven research
  • Develop potential relationships with community partners and the San Diego food security community through meeting attendance, community engagement events, etc.
  • Support research efforts to identify gaps in services
  • Oversee survey administration, support program evaluation for neighborhood partners, and lead the development of client feedback collection for all partners
  • Support grant and funder reporting with program challenges, testimonials, data, and information regularly

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements
  • Experience working with community partners and non-profit organizations
