Director of Planned Giving and Corporate Partnerships

About the Role:
The San Diego LGBT Community Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Planned Giving and Corporate Partnerships to join our development team. This pivotal leadership role is responsible for driving the Center's planned giving programs and cultivating corporate partnerships to secure long-term financial support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to promote planned giving opportunities to potential donors
- Maintain ongoing communication with planned giving donors and foster long-term relationships
- Lead and execute donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship plans to secure planned gifts
- Develop and manage a dynamic portfolio of prospects in various phases of the donor solicitation cycle
- Collaborate with the major gifts team and other departments to develop strategies for cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding planned giving prospects
- Organize and conduct seminars for prospective donors, financial and estate planners, and other key stakeholders
Requirements:
- At least three years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, or corporate partnerships within a non-profit environment
- Experience managing a portfolio of planned giving prospects and securing gifts valued at $25,000 or more is highly preferred
- CFRE certification or equivalent is desirable
