DAN Solutions is seeking a Systems Administrator Technical Specialist to provide support for a client in the Intelligence Community.

Work Environment:
Full-time presence in a secure facility is essential.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of pertinent experience. An additional 4 years of experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Current DOD TS/SCI security clearance with the capability to obtain a polygraph before commencing work.
  • Proficiency in PeopleSoft HCM Applications (9.2 platform) and PeopleTools 8.59 or higher, specifically in a three-tier architecture setting.
  • Experience as a PeopleSoft administrator in complex, integrated, and customized environments.

Required Experience Includes:

  • Managing PeopleSoft systems on Linux/Windows servers and Oracle databases.
  • Performance tuning of SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with WebLogic and Tuxedo.
  • Utilizing Change Assistant, Application Designer, and Data Mover.
  • Administering PeopleSoft in a load-balanced environment.
  • Handling SSL certificates within the PeopleSoft ecosystem.
  • Working with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and OpenSSL.

Key Skills:

  • Ability to articulate technical concepts and solutions to both technical professionals and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in independently prioritizing and managing multiple tasks.
  • Track record of meeting response times in line with service level agreements for urgent requests.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in communication across various internal and external parties.
  • Planning and scheduling maintenance activities, including security updates and emergency responses for database management systems.
  • Maintaining all database environments, including Development, Test, and Production.
  • Overseeing a variety of unique databases, including applying security updates and vendor modifications.
