Supply Chain Logistics Specialist

Position Overview:
As a pivotal member of the logistics team at RTX, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient handling and distribution of materials essential for Non-Destructive Testing (NDT). Your role will involve meticulous documentation and order management to ensure compliance and accuracy in all logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage delivery documentation, including packing slips and shipping labels, utilizing advanced software tools such as SAP and Microsoft 365.
- Interpret and extract relevant information from manufacturing procedures, purchase orders, and regulatory documents to compile comprehensive order packets for setup operators.
- Address and rectify any discrepancies in documentation and labeling promptly.
- Maintain regular communication with vendors, colleagues, and customers to facilitate timely acknowledgment and resolution of logistics issues.
- Contribute to the continuous enhancement of logistics processes and documentation practices.

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience (2 years of relevant experience in lieu of diploma).
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to obtain and maintain access to regulated materials.
- Must be a U.S. Person or eligible for necessary export authorizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Experience with data entry and computer systems.
- Excellent organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with SAP and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
