Position: Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to serve as a vital link between employees and management at our Fairfield, CA facility, providing essential human resources support. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an individual who values being a consultative partner and a reliable resource for various HR-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer guidance and support to management on the application of company policies and HR practices.
  • Collaborate with operations to address employee relations challenges, conducting investigations and providing counsel.
  • Engage with team members to foster a culture of diversity, respect, and collaboration.
  • Conduct employee relations investigations and partner with leadership to address organizational health concerns.
  • Advise on employment-related matters, including ADA, FMLA, FLSA, and workplace conduct.
  • Facilitate HR processes to ensure a fair and ethical approach across the organization.
  • Develop strategies to maintain positive employee relations and enhance workplace culture.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of programs aimed at employee and organizational development.
  • Provide support in recruitment efforts and participate in initiatives to fill open positions.
  • Conduct pre-employment screenings and assist with onboarding processes as needed.
  • Support performance management initiatives by coaching and providing feedback to supervisors.
  • Contribute to safety programs and manage workers' compensation processes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field is required.
  • 2-3 years of HR experience in a manufacturing setting is essential.
  • HR certification is preferred.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems, including ADP, is required.
  • Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills are necessary.
  • Professionalism and a proactive approach to issue resolution are expected.
  • Compensation for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience.
