Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and direction to employees, ensuring they are fully resourced and equipped to meet production requirements.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, conduct regular cycle counts, and report discrepancies to the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Production Planning: Assist in planning and coordinating production schedules, ensuring timely shipments to customers and distribution centers.
  • Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and GMPs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and maintain equipment, including Power Industrial Trucks (PITs), to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Training and Development: Provide training to employees on safety awareness, departmental policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and upper management to ensure seamless execution of production requirements.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 2 years of experience in a material handler or forklift driver capacity with increasing responsibilities in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to build trust, provide direction, and motivate employees to achieve exceptional results.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, both oral and written, and strong managerial skills, including good judgment, planning, organizing, and problem-solving.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, speak, and communicate in English with employees, direct supervisors, team leads, and upper management. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent lifting, bending, and standing. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and upper management.
