Supply Chain Logistics Specialist

Position Overview:
As a pivotal member of the logistics team at RTX, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient handling and transportation of materials essential for our advanced aerospace projects. Your role will involve meticulous documentation and management of orders to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Generate and manage shipping documents, packing lists, and labels utilizing various software platforms including SAP and Microsoft 365.
2. Interpret and extract relevant information from manufacturing guidelines, purchase orders, and regulatory documents to compile comprehensive order packets for operational staff.
3. Address and rectify any discrepancies in documentation and labeling promptly.
4. Maintain regular communication with suppliers, colleagues, and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely resolutions and acknowledgments.
5. Contribute to the enhancement of documentation processes and logistics administration.
Qualifications Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience in logistics or related fields.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to obtain necessary access for handling sensitive materials.
- Must be a U.S. Person or eligible for required export authorizations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Experience with data entry and various computer systems.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Familiarity with SAP and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
