Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Graduate Program Coordinator II to join our team at the University of Texas at Austin. This role will be responsible for coordinating all phases of the Semiconductor Science and Engineering graduate and undergraduate programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate program admissions, including prospective student inquiries, application assistance, and faculty review and decision processing.
  • Manage fellowship nominations and maintain admissions records.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive mentoring program in coordination with other relevant UT units.
  • Support the integration of workforce skills credentials and learning opportunities into SSE credentials.
  • Assist with regular graduate student seminars by creating posters and fliers, distributing announcements, and setting up refreshments.
  • Coordinate student office space and maintain student records, including grades, qualifications, and milestones.
  • Submit individual instruction grades and maintain FASET.
  • Coordinate competitive recruitment programs, including site visits, web promotion, and newsletter creation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students. A bachelor's degree and relevant experience are required.
