Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Graduate Program Coordinator II to join our team at the University of Texas at Austin. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating all phases of the Semiconductor Science and Engineering graduate and undergraduate programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate program admissions, including prospective student inquiries, application assistance, and faculty review and decision processing.
  • Manage fellowship nominations and maintain admissions records.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive mentoring program in coordination with other relevant UT units and organizations.
  • Work with the program director and TIE Workforce Director to manage SSE scholarships, including recruiting, selection, administration, and reporting.
  • Coordinate student office space and maintain student records, including grades, qualifications, and milestones.
  • Assist with regular graduate student seminars by creating posters and fliers, distributing announcements, and setting up refreshments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with program coordination and student services.
