Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve inquiries and requests for assistance with IT equipment, including workstations, printers, networking, event ticketing, video equipment, VOIP, and cell phones.
  • Provide technical support for events hosted by the department, including internal staff requests, stats, TV, AV, media, and other invited parties.
  • Maintain accurate information efficiently across several systems, including support issues and inventory management.
  • Participate in technical planning and documentation for Athletics IT and Athletics-sponsored events.
  • Establish close communications and good working relationships with staff, external partners, and management.
Requirements
  • High school graduation or GED.
  • Two years of demonstrated experience in IT customer service and/or help desk environment.
  • Knowledge of hardware and software operations, installation, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • More than two years of experience with functions listed in required qualifications.
  • Systems administration experience for Windows and macOS computers using enterprise systems management software and tools.
