POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Creative Director at CUENTO Marketing will engage with a diverse range of clients to spearhead comprehensive creative ideation, conceptualization, hands-on production, and execution. The ideal candidate will be a solution-focused leader, committed to a novel and dynamic approach to creative storytelling. In this role, you will steer the overarching visual narrative, ensuring that campaign styling and deliverable execution are in harmony with brand standards and campaign objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the CUENTO client experience team and/or directly with clients to craft creative, original, and innovative concepts, producing on-brand, professional creative outputs (including both design and video components).
  • Establish the creative vision for CUENTO and its clientele to guarantee consistency across all touchpoints.
  • Oversee, manage, and lead creative concepts from ideation through execution for a variety of clients and projects, balancing a fast-paced environment with varying brand standards.
  • Lead, conceptualize, and supervise content creation, which includes branding materials, advertising campaigns, digital media, print collateral, large format signage, merchandise concepts, logos, product packaging, commercials, content series, and social media content.
  • Develop and implement brand standards and visual identity for clients.
  • Drive and manage deliverable output by leading the quality control process.
  • Mentor and develop the creative design and production team through proactive leadership, enhancing the department's overall skills with new techniques and technology.
  • Implement creative and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and stay aligned with current trends and technological advancements.
  • Manage budgets, internal resource allocation, and third-party design and video resources.
  • Oversee multiple projects across diverse clients and industries, ensuring excellent project management, time management, and timely delivery of project assets.
  • Review and approve all creative design and video deliverables to ensure accuracy and consistency while providing constructive feedback to deliver top-tier work to clients.
  • Coordinate and oversee static and video production, including various levels of on-site production needs.
  • Direct, produce, and occasionally construct on-site productions, including set design and tactical execution.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and standards while pursuing ongoing education around technology, techniques, and creative executions.

QUALIFICATIONS: The following minimum requirements must be met:

  • A minimum of ten years of professional experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere); knowledge of Adobe After Effects is a plus. Familiarity with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) is also required.
  • Experience in developing marketing/advertising campaigns — from conceptualization to overseeing production on time and within budget.
  • Ability to think creatively and strategically.
  • Strong understanding of brand development and marketing platforms and trends.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of file setup, page layout, typography, color schemes, design standards, and principles.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in creating integrated content across all marketing channels: digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print.
  • Strong knowledge of working with large and small format printers as well as merchandise vendors, delivering print-ready art with proper setup.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, communicative, and resourceful with strong time-management skills.
  • Experience managing and directing photo and video shoots is a plus.
  • Experience across various industries is a plus, with a strong emphasis on past campaign and creative work in sports.
  • Proven track record of effective cross-departmental collaboration with a variety of individuals and job functions.
