Creative Asset Designer

We are looking for a self-motivated Creative Asset Designer with a proven track record for creating new, unique designs with the latest version of Photoshop pertaining to photo manipulation, art creation, digital art, collating, and layouts that follow JVA art group standards.

The position is full-time and based in our San Diego office near Historical Old Town.

This role reports to the Operations Supervisor and will work closely with the Director of Business Development, Sales, and Marketing.

Working side by side with a small team of artists, project managers, and a strong management team, who have designed brand packages for many elite brands as well as high-value brand programs.

In this position, you will :

  • Create custom digital art content for website, social media, presentations, Ebooks, and promotional materials.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the company website

Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and maintaining all creative content pertaining to marketing materials, company presentations, collateral materials, and web presence based on JVA art group brand standards. Materials may include, but are not limited to lookbooks, room mock-ups, social media posts, blog posts, presentations, ads, trade show booths, email blasts, and any new requests that come through as the company continues to grow.

Develop and maintain in-stock marketing samples, promotional materials, manage inventory, and work with the production team for re-orders.

Collaborating with sales to develop creative digital content/ custom art to fit the marketing vision.

Creating content to aid in the success of marketing strategies.

Building presentations for client-facing projects, and supporting Project Managers to showcase JVA strategic art designs.

Designs, builds, and maintains our social media presence.

Develop and maintain updates to JVA art group's new website. Provide new website designs based on valid and supporting data, points, using industry-based practices to improve website effectiveness, customer experience, usability, and navigation.

Research and stay current with new design trends and drive the JVA brand to be at the forefront of new trends. Staying current with emerging opportunities in the digital marketing world.

Education, Experience:

  • BS- Graphic Design or similar
  • Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the art industry
  • Understanding of interior design and how the art will correlate to décor
  • Web Design/Development experience with WordPress
  • Experienced in Adobe Suite
  • Experience working on a MAC workstation
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Great communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Work on various projects at one time
  • Proactive and accountable for results
  • Willingness to participate in a team-oriented environment.
  • You are flexible and able to receive criticism and alter your work to meet company goals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
