Overview:

The Sourcing Analyst plays a pivotal role in managing procurement activities to fulfill the operational requirements of the organization. This position focuses on the acquisition of goods, materials, and services while balancing cost, quality, and timely delivery to maintain operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute purchase orders with both internal teams and external suppliers, adhering to established cost, quality, and delivery benchmarks.
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify and communicate supply chain challenges that may affect business continuity.
  • Serve as a liaison between vendors and internal departments regarding procurement processes and initiatives.
  • Prepare and oversee purchase orders and associated schedules to ensure timely fulfillment.
  • Facilitate urgent procurement requests to meet critical deadlines.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in all supplier interactions, ensuring consistent and effective communication.
  • Adhere to company policies and procurement guidelines to ensure compliance.
  • Work closely with the receiving department to address inventory discrepancies and manage overdue goods receipt.
  • Process requests for onboarding new vendors efficiently.
  • Monitor procurement metrics to prevent overstock situations and follow up on delayed orders.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers and customs agents to ensure smooth shipment processing.
  • Assist the Finance department in resolving invoicing and purchase order discrepancies.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to cultivate and sustain productive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and suppliers.
  • Adaptability to changing business needs and performance expectations.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving.
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Commercial acumen with an understanding of the implications of procurement decisions on production and customer service.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.

Educational Background:

Prior experience in procurement or purchasing is preferred. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly advanced Excel skills, is essential.
