Position Overview:
The Senior Radiology Technology Supervisor is tasked with overseeing imaging operations within the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services across various modalities, including diagnostic imaging, interventional procedures, CT, MR, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound. This role is pivotal in guiding a team of radiology technologists, serving as a subject matter expert and leading initiatives for equipment assessments and procedural enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:
* Conducts necessary invasive and interventional procedures in alignment with established protocols, catering to a diverse patient demographic, including neonates, children, adults, and seniors.
* Generates high-quality imaging outputs and compiles relevant patient data for prompt interpretation.
* Maintains precise documentation and collaborates effectively with medical professionals.

Leadership:
* Exhibits strong leadership skills to meet the needs of patients and the imaging team.
* Manages daily operations within the assigned imaging modality, ensuring smooth workflow and resource availability.
* Oversees inventory management to prevent service interruptions and maintains staff schedules, including time-off requests.
* Participates in recruitment, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution, acting as the initial point of contact for employee concerns.

Education and Training:
* Stays informed on advancements in human anatomy, physiology, radiation safety, and imaging technology.
* Provides education to patients and families regarding procedures, associated risks, and preventive measures.

Compliance and Safety:
* Adheres to all regulatory standards and organizational policies related to patient care and safety.
* Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations affecting the role, maintaining all necessary certifications and licenses.
* Completes mandatory training and participates in quality control measures for imaging equipment, addressing any performance issues promptly.

Qualifications:
Education:
* Required: Associate's degree in Radiological Technology.
* Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Radiology or a related field.

Certifications:
* Required: Valid Arizona Department of Health Rad Tech license, BLS certification.
* Additional certifications may be required based on specific modalities.

Experience:
* Preferred: Relevant experience in Diagnostic Radiology and specialized modalities.
