Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care
    • Perform prescribed imaging procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
    • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
    • Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records.
  • Leadership
    • Lead and manage a team of radiology technologists to ensure efficient operation of imaging services.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.
    • Monitor and maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and materials to ensure non-interruption of services.
  • Education and Compliance
    • Stay up-to-date on the latest knowledge and technologies in radiology and imaging services.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards affecting patient care and safety.
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and licensure.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Applied Associate's degree in Radiological Technology or related field.
    • Bachelor's degree in Radiology or Science preferred.
  • Certification and Licensure
    • Current registry in Radiologic Technology and relevant modality (e.g. CT, MRI, etc.).
    • BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
  • Experience
    • Minimum one year experience in diagnostic radiology or relevant modality.
    • Leadership experience preferred.
