Key Responsibilities- Patient Care
- Perform prescribed imaging procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records.
- Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of radiology technologists to ensure efficient operation of imaging services.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.
- Monitor and maintain an adequate inventory of supplies and materials to ensure non-interruption of services.
- Education and Compliance
- Stay up-to-date on the latest knowledge and technologies in radiology and imaging services.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards affecting patient care and safety.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and licensure.
- Education
- Applied Associate's degree in Radiological Technology or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiology or Science preferred.
- Certification and Licensure
- Current registry in Radiologic Technology and relevant modality (e.g. CT, MRI, etc.).
- BLS (American Heart Association) certification.
- Experience
- Minimum one year experience in diagnostic radiology or relevant modality.
- Leadership experience preferred.
