Safety Administrator Job Description

Innova Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Safety Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform administrative duties related to department records, files, and training.
  • Purchase Order (PO) processing.
  • Assist with generating, modifying, and organizing documentation (hard and digital copies) like procedures, risk analysis and other EHS related documents.
  • Assist with the approval of Safety supplies, equipment, and uniform processing.
  • Assist in the investigation of accidents, injuries, near misses and/or situation where safety procedures were not followed and completed the appropriate reports and/or other paperwork.
  • Assist with setting up meetings with various individuals, departments, and/or third parties.
  • Assist with Worker's Compensation record keeping, inspections, assessments, surveys, program evaluations and statistics.
Requirements:
  • High School Degree required; some college preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Occupational Safety.
  • Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
