About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Services Representative to join our team at Signature Health. As a key member of our patient access team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient support by accurately capturing and updating patient registration information in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Ensure timely and effective scheduling of patient appointments, while maintaining a high level of provider and clinician satisfaction.
  • Collect and process patient payments, while providing clear and concise information regarding financial responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless communication and a positive patient experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and policies, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant standards.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of office, customer service, or related experience required; medical office experience preferred.
  • Previous experience in a primary care or behavioral health setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance, specifically Medicare, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid preferred.
  • Experience working with an EHR system required; EPIC experience preferred.
