Job Title: Fluid and Mechanical Engineer II

At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As a Fluid and Mechanical Engineer II, you'll play a critical role in the success of our New Glenn launch vehicle program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Integrated Product Team leadership to capture product concepts, requirements, and identify design artifacts relevant to product manufacture.
  • Champion Fluid and Mechanical product development project management best practices and drive Integrated Product Teams to develop and release product artifacts for manufacture.
  • Coordinate with supply chain management and partner with contract manufacturers to negotiate, plan, execute and deliver Fluid and Mechanical products in alignment with program business and technical goals and procurement timelines.
  • Strengthen vendor relationships by communicating program business and technical product development information and changes to suppliers, while also conveying supplier capabilities, performance and execution to engineering teams and management.
Requirements:
  • Technically ambitious, proactive, service-oriented individual with excellent oral, written, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work closely with suppliers to resolve technical issues, develop sustainable manufacturing processes, and mitigate technical risks.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and drive projects to completion.
