Job Overview

Blaze Credit Union is on the lookout for a skilled Digital Banking Specialist to enhance our team. This role is pivotal in researching, maintaining, and supporting our members and staff with all electronic products and services available through our Digital Banking platform. The position requires collaboration with various departments, management, and vendor representatives to ensure sustainable support for our digital channels and members.

Incentives: Blaze is currently offering a bonus for DNA experience amounting to $5,500 over a two-year period, and $2,000 for Non-DNA experience over a one-year period for all branch and member experience center roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively.
  • Provide advanced technical support to members utilizing digital services, including troubleshooting technical issues and offering setup and navigation training.
  • Assist in the digital onboarding process for new members.
  • Communicate professionally with members, offering escalated support for all digital products and following up as necessary.
  • Create and update internal documentation for procedures related to new and existing products.
  • Exhibit strong product knowledge, clearly explaining the features and benefits of each service.
  • Identify and address member needs proactively.
  • Work collaboratively with Member Operations, Deposit Services, Contact Center, and Branches to resolve online and mobile service issues affecting member satisfaction.
  • Ensure an exceptional member experience across Blaze's digital banking channels by contributing to the vision, direction, development, and execution of digital initiatives.
  • Collect feedback from members and staff to pinpoint opportunities for improvements and enhancements.
  • Leverage internal vendor relationships for ongoing communication, incident escalation, and resolution in line with SLA guidelines.
  • Recommend enhancements based on member feedback, analytical insights, and a comprehensive understanding of the business.
  • Maintain compliance with data protection, security risks, and best practices in financial systems.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in digital product delivery or online/mobile channels, preferably within the financial sector; a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Skills and Attributes
  • Natural problem solver, even in uncertain situations.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficient in Windows, iOS, Android OS, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Technical proficiency in software navigation.
  • Experience with the Alkami Digital Banking Platform is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to multitask effectively.
  • Strong organizational and planning capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal); courtesy and tact are essential for interacting with members regarding routine matters.
