Role Responsibilities: This position will work in tandem with engineering and testing teams to formulate a thorough risk management strategy, ensuring its implementation aligns with project timelines to facilitate market readiness.

The ideal candidate will possess a proactive demeanor, gathering and disseminating validation data, coordinating activities across various testing facilities, and ensuring synchronization with multiple vehicle integration initiatives.

Key Duties Include:

  • Collaborating with engineering, safety, compliance, and testing teams to create and uphold a detailed Design Validation Plan and Report (DVP&R) that minimizes risk and adheres to powertrain and vehicle program schedules.
  • Assisting program management with validation budget considerations, including test equipment.
  • Ensuring comprehensive testing plans are developed and aligned with powertrain and vehicle initiatives.
  • Providing regular updates through written and verbal communication to convey status, changes, risks, and gaps in vehicle program timelines, while identifying areas for enhancement.

Travel Requirements: Up to 10% travel may be required, both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field is required.
  • Experience with risk mitigation techniques such as DFMEA and DVP&R is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to deliver technical presentations and written reports to varied audiences.
  • Demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively within a team to meet deadlines.
  • A willingness to grow both personally and professionally, with an eagerness to learn and apply new methodologies.
  • Resourcefulness in problem-solving.
  • An outgoing and engaging personality, coupled with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Prior experience managing data using Excel or similar software.
