Gather and analyze customer expectations concerning fuel efficiency and drivability, aligning these with global CO2 and GHG targets to inform powertrain property specifications.

Initiate and lead cross-functional teams to establish viable powertrain concepts, ensuring that target requirements for powertrain system components are clearly defined and aligned with customer needs.

Provide guidance to the Scope Steering Committee during project scoping decisions. Document and define powertrain target specifications. Develop and oversee verification and validation plans, tracking property performance throughout the project lifecycle. Present property proposals and updates during management discussions.


Qualifications:

A Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field such as Automotive or Mechanical Engineering is required; a Master of Science is preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the automotive industry is essential.


Essential Knowledge:

Familiarity with the Powertrain Domain, VECTO, GEM regulatory tools, and the V-cycle definition and testing process. A proactive attitude, perseverance, and excellent communication skills in English, including the ability to present to management.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
