The ideal candidate will possess a proactive demeanor, adept at gathering and disseminating validation data, coordinating activities across various testing facilities, and maintaining coherence with multiple vehicle integration initiatives.
Key Duties Include:
- Collaborating with engineering, safety, compliance, and testing teams to create and uphold a precise Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) that mitigates risks and supports program schedules across all truck divisions.
- Assisting program management with validation budget specifics, including testing equipment.
- Ensuring comprehensive testing strategies are developed and synchronized with powertrain and vehicle programs.
- Providing both written and verbal updates to communicate status, changes, risks, and opportunities for improvement regarding vehicle program timelines.
Travel Requirements: Up to 10% travel may be required, both domestically and internationally.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field is required.
- Previous experience with risk management techniques such as DFMEA and DVP&R.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven capability to deliver technical presentations and written reports to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively to meet deadlines.
- A willingness to pursue personal and professional growth, with an eagerness to learn and implement new methodologies.
