The ideal candidate will possess a proactive demeanor, adept at gathering and disseminating validation data, coordinating activities across various testing facilities, and maintaining coherence with multiple vehicle integration initiatives.

Key Duties Include:

  • Collaborating with engineering, safety, compliance, and testing teams to create and uphold a precise Design Verification Plan and Report (DVP&R) that mitigates risks and supports program schedules across all truck divisions.
  • Assisting program management with validation budget specifics, including testing equipment.
  • Ensuring comprehensive testing strategies are developed and synchronized with powertrain and vehicle programs.
  • Providing both written and verbal updates to communicate status, changes, risks, and opportunities for improvement regarding vehicle program timelines.

Travel Requirements: Up to 10% travel may be required, both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field is required.
  • Previous experience with risk management techniques such as DFMEA and DVP&R.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven capability to deliver technical presentations and written reports to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively to meet deadlines.
  • A willingness to pursue personal and professional growth, with an eagerness to learn and implement new methodologies.
  • Resourcefulness in problem-solving.
  • A proactive and engaging personality, with a demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality results.
  • Prior experience managing data using Excel or similar tools.
