Key Responsibilities- Coordinate surgical procedures, including obtaining medical clearances, scheduling pre-op and post-op appointments, and communicating with patients regarding pre-certification, authorization, and financial counseling.
- Manage patient schedules, ensuring accurate updates and cancellations, and communicating with stakeholders as needed.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure accurate and timely communication of clinical instructions and patient information.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- 2 years of medical office scheduling experience or 1-2 years of administration experience combined with orthopedic clinic experience.
- Excellent organizational skills, strong customer service orientation, and a strong background in computers and data entry.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance plans.
