In the role of a Cybersecurity and Compliance Specialist, you will be integral to the protection of our digital resources and the adherence to essential regulations and standards.

Your responsibilities will include the development, implementation, and ongoing management of security protocols designed to shield our systems, networks, and sensitive data from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

Moreover, you will work closely with various teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations, including GDPR, CCPA, PCI DSS, among others.

Key Responsibilities:


• Formulate, implement, and uphold security policies, procedures, and controls to protect payment information, personally identifiable information (PII), and employee data across both e-commerce and physical retail platforms.

• Conduct regular risk assessments and security audits to pinpoint vulnerabilities, evaluate risks, and propose and execute mitigation strategies.

• Design, implement, and sustain physical network security measures to prevent unauthorized access, intrusions, and data breaches in both online and brick-and-mortar settings.

• Oversee and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations such as PCI DSS, GDPR, CCPA, and other pertinent data protection laws and frameworks.

• Collaborate with IT, engineering, legal, and other departments to integrate security and compliance requirements into business processes and systems.

• Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and regulatory changes in the security and privacy landscape, proactively recommending and implementing measures to mitigate risks.

• Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders regarding security best practices, compliance obligations, and incident response protocols.
• Lead or participate in security incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, remediation, and reporting.
• Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee awareness of security risks, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications & Educational Background:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related discipline; or equivalent professional experience.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in security and compliance roles, particularly within e-commerce and physical retail environments.

• Profound understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies, with specific expertise in physical network security, wireless access points (WAP), and data protection strategies.

• Strong knowledge of payment card industry standards (PCI DSS) and experience in implementing and maintaining PCI compliance programs.
• Familiarity with international data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA, along with experience ensuring compliance with these laws.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or similar are preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to assess complex security challenges and propose effective solutions.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to convey security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Proven capability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
