Quality Assurance Testing Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for executing both automated and manual testing procedures on technological solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and design specifications. Your role will involve developing and implementing test plans aimed at validating software solutions through realistic scenarios and proposed business workflows. You will identify and report defects, usability discrepancies, and business process challenges that may hinder production readiness or fail to meet established acceptance criteria. Additionally, you will play a key role in defining testing acceptance criteria and approving production readiness based on real-world business use cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders to gain a clear understanding of project requirements and objectives.
  • Create detailed test plans for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), outlining scope, objectives, timelines, and necessary resources.
  • Establish test strategies and methodologies for conducting SIT and UAT.
  • Review test cases with stakeholders to ensure they align with business requirements.
  • Document and communicate test results, including any defects and issues identified during the testing process.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of test processes, procedures, and outcomes for future reference and compliance purposes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in software testing, particularly in System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Familiarity with test management tools such as qTest or equivalent.
  • Preferred experience in test automation.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with AWS serverless or similar cloud technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
