Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated and skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to become part of our dynamic team. This role presents an excellent opportunity to engage with a fast-paced, results-driven group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing all aspects of our commercial insurance clients' requirements. This position demands an individual who thrives in a challenging environment, adept at juggling multiple priorities while utilizing exceptional customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:

1. Overseeing a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring that all client service expectations are met and surpassed.
2. Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and insurance needs.
3. Collaborating with the sales team to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
4. Evaluating and analyzing clients' current insurance coverage and offering recommendations for enhancements.
5. Managing the renewal process for all assigned clients, including preparing renewal proposals and negotiating optimal terms with carriers.
6. Addressing client inquiries and resolving issues in a prompt and professional manner.
7. Working closely with underwriters and adjusters to handle claims and risk management matters.
8. Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulations, and products to provide informed advice and superior service to clients.

Qualifications:

To qualify for the role of Commercial Lines Account Manager, candidates should possess:

1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance and account management.
2. A proven history of delivering outstanding customer service.
3. Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk management strategies.
4. Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
5. Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. An insurance designation such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU is preferred.
