Position Overview:
We are in search of a motivated and skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager. This role presents an excellent opportunity to engage with a dynamic and results-driven team. The ideal candidate will manage and service all aspects of our commercial insurance clients' requirements. This position demands an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, adeptly juggling multiple priorities while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Lines Account Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing a portfolio of commercial accounts, ensuring all client service expectations are met and surpassed.
2. Building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, comprehending their business needs and insurance specifications.
3. Collaborating with the sales team to facilitate a smooth onboarding process for new clients.
4. Evaluating and analyzing clients' current insurance coverage, providing insightful recommendations for enhancements.
5. Managing the renewal process for all assigned clients, including crafting renewal proposals and negotiating favorable terms with carriers.
6. Addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly and professionally.
7. Working closely with underwriters and adjusters to handle claims and risk management matters.
8. Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulations, and products to offer the best guidance and service to clients.
Qualifications:
To qualify for the Commercial Lines Account Manager position, candidates should possess:
1. A minimum of 3+ years of experience in commercial insurance and account management.
2. A proven history of delivering exceptional customer service.
3. Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and risk management principles.
4. Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
5. Capability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. An insurance designation such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU is preferred.
