About the Role:
Pride Health is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to support its clinical and administrative teams in delivering high-quality patient care.
About You:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and screen telephone calls, taking accurate messages or directing calls to the appropriate person.
- Greet and direct patients, families, visitors, and staff.
- Respond to requests promptly and provide clear, accurate information within the scope of knowledge and authority.
- Update patient demographic and insurance information as necessary and obtain specialist referrals for all patient appointments.
- Schedule patient appointments utilizing scheduling tools and resources.
- Coordinate and communicate ancillary appointments and procedures working with other hospital staff as needed.
- Obtain patient information and materials as needed from referral sources.
- Prepare patient records for clinical activities and maintain patient records for physicians.
- Act as liaison with other departments and external customers in a calm and supportive manner.
- Handle confidential information appropriately and explain policies and procedures when necessary.
- Maintain physician's administrative and clinical calendars.
- Compose routine correspondence and transcribe letters and patient notes as needed for physicians.
- Prepare and distribute materials for meetings and committees.
