About the Role

The Executive Chef is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for overseeing all culinary operations at our locations. As a leader in the kitchen, you will be responsible for training and leading kitchen personnel, supervising and coordinating all related culinary activities, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train and lead kitchen personnel to ensure a high level of service and quality.
  • Supervise and coordinate all related culinary activities, including food preparation, presentation, and service.
  • Estimate food consumption and requisition or purchase food to ensure adequate supplies.
  • Select and develop recipes and standardize production recipes to ensure consistent quality and presentation.
  • Establish presentation technique and quality standards, and plan and price menus to meet customer needs.
  • Ensure proper equipment operation and maintenance, and ensure proper safety and sanitation in the kitchen.
  • Oversee special catering events and may also offer culinary instruction and/or demonstrate culinary techniques.
Requirements
  • Requires at least 2-3 years of experience in a related position.
  • Requires at least 2-3 years of post-high school education, preferably a culinary degree.
  • Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession.
  • Requires experiential knowledge of management of people and/or problems.
  • Requires verbal, reading, and written communication skills.
