Job Description

This role is an opportunity to join our esteemed team as an EyeCare Advisor. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating exceptional value for our customers by delivering the LensCrafters Experience.

You will be responsible for ensuring all patients receive the highest quality Optometric care, while also meeting the store's key performance indicators by integrating the Brand Story and executing the patient experience flawlessly.

In this dynamic role, you will greet customers promptly, answer telephone calls in a friendly and courteous manner, and explain required paperwork, tests, products, and services. Your attention to detail will ensure accurate reviews of prescriptions and patient information, while your patience and courtesy will shine through when dealing with indecisive or difficult customers and patients.

As a skilled professional, you will perform work accurately and thoroughly despite time pressure and customer volume, identifying situations involving unsatisfied customers and acting quickly for resolution. You will also demonstrate knowledge of appointment book/scheduling procedures and computer operation/procedures, handling and filing patient records efficiently.

This role requires strong communication skills, with the ability to operate the POS system terminal accurately and collect proper payment following company security procedures. You will also take pride in maintaining a safe working environment and responding quickly to changes in store promotions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills (internal and external)
  • Knowledge of current fashion trends
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators
Benefits

As an employee of EssilorLuxottica, you can expect a competitive salary between $17.42 and $24.05 per hour, depending on location, experience, qualifications, and local minimum wage requirements. You may also be eligible for a bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a comprehensive total rewards package including health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
