Job Title: Mailroom Coordinator
Job SummaryThe Millennium Group is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mailroom Coordinator to join our team. As a Mailroom Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and processing all materials received in the Mail Center, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency in your work.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and process all materials received in the Mail Center
- Provide customer service at the Mailroom service window during core business hours
- Inspect deliveries for suspicious or threatening items
- Prepare and process outbound Domestic and International shipments using Fedex shipping management systems
- Control inbound and outbound accountable packages using Brynka
- Sort parcels for shipping and receiving
- Prepare items for processing, shipment or transportation
- Maintain time, volume and delivery records
- Re-stock supplies throughout the office
- Order office supplies and help to maintain inventory sheets
- Provide general administrative and clerical assistance
- Perform regular sweeps of the workspace to identify areas/items/equipment/materials in need of repair, replacement, or upgrade
- High School diploma required
- 1-2 years prior Mail Services experience in an office environment
- Advanced Computer skills with Microsoft office applications
- Great communication skills both orally and written
- General knowledge of international shipping including custom paperwork
- Strong work ethic; diplomatic; team and service oriented; builds strong working relationships
- Exhibits exceptional customer service skills
- Consistently demonstrates professional demeanor, appearance and attitude
- Proven ability to remain calm under pressure; resilient
- Sound judgment and problem-solving ability
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adapt to an ever-changing work environment
- Assertive and resourceful; motivated; willing to ask questions and take initiative without direction
