We are offering a temp to permanent opportunity for an HR Assistant/Coordinator in New York, New York. This role is within the Veterinary Services industry and will involve a range of HR-related duties. As an HR Assistant, you'll be a key part of our team, assisting with HR compliance, file management, onboarding/offboarding, and more.


Responsibilities:


• Assist with HR compliance tasks, ensuring all company policies and regulations are adhered to

• Manage and organize HR files, maintaining an efficient and accurate record-keeping system

• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, providing a smooth transition for all employees

• Conduct new hire orientations, introducing new employees to company culture and policies

• Coordinate health/drug screening processes, ensuring all employees meet necessary requirements

• Manage HRIS projects, utilizing your skills in 'HR (Human Resources)' and 'Filing' to improve our systems

• Take responsibility for mailroom services, ensuring all mail is sorted and delivered efficiently

• Operate independently while also functioning as an effective team player

• Pay close attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring accuracy in all areas of work.

A Veterinary Services company is seeking an HR Coordinator for an ongoing contract engagement with opportunity for hire. This HR Coordinator will be responsible for: assisting HR compliance, file management, onboarding/offboarding, new hire orientations, health/drug screening coordinating, HRIS projects, mailroom services etc. Experience with ADP Workforce Now is required. Attention to detail, having a team player mentality while also having the ability to operate independently is required.
