Regional Support Specialist

Job Summary:
Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a skilled Regional Support Tech to provide high-level support to their regional offices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promptly and professionally respond to requests for technical assistance and escalations from the Managed Service Provider (MSP) helpdesk and others.
- Proactively visit field locations on a rotating basis to ensure IT equipment is effective, reliable, neatly and professionally installed, correctly inventoried, and user/site issues are addressed and/or escalated.
- Configure, deploy, and support various computer equipment, networking equipment, phones, hotspots, audio-video, and other equipment and software.
- Provide hands-on and after-hours support as needed to ensure the regional offices and field locations are fully operational.
- Communicate, resolve, and document issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform software installation and troubleshooting.
- Assist with various projects as needed.
Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years prior service desk or similar IT experience required
- MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, or other equivalent desktop certifications preferred
- High-level of proficiency with Windows 7, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office
- Entry-level understanding of networking principles
- Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills
- Professional communication and customer service skills both written and oral
- Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
