Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a skilled Marketing/Proposal Specialist to join our West Region Marketing Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for writing and managing proposals for our must-win pursuits. This role requires strong leadership, sharp compliance, skilled writing, and creativity to deliver high-quality proposals and presentations.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead large proposals and presentations, and support from pre-RFP project positioning through to interview stage, as required.
* Coordinate content and information for qualifications and proposals, including schedule, templates, compliance, content plan, and production.
* Provide conceptual leadership for document design and serve as lead writer/editor for resumes and past performance sections for proposals.
* Manage the implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams.
* Participate in go/no-go and greenlight analyses in compliance with delegation of authority guidelines, capture planning, and positioning activities as they pertain to preparation for the proposal.
* Liaise with business line teams, operations, technical, and business development professionals to support or develop marketing information.

Requirements

* BA/BS in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
* 2 years of managing design proposals, in particular winning work for facility design-bid-build and design-build pursuits, or a demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
* A detailed knowledge of marketing best practices and procedures, work processes, and tools.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, spreadsheet management (Excel), and presentation software (e.g., PowerPoint), as well as desktop publishing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite), graphics programs (e.g., InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop).
* A working knowledge of collaborative tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, etc.
* An understanding of CRM. Salesforce experience is a plus.
