Position Summary

We are seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to contribute to a dynamic, interdisciplinary team supporting U.S. Government initiatives. This role demands technical expertise and the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.

Travel Requirements
Up to 40% OCONUS and 10% CONUS as necessary.

Security Clearance
Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph required.

Key Responsibilities
This position will provide specialized technical expertise in radio frequency (RF) communications. Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as a liaison between technical teams and operational clients, facilitating discussions regarding vendor capabilities and design options.
  • Effectively communicating technical designs and results while applying engineering principles to meet client needs.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of six years of direct experience with tactical communications projects, including familiarity with ICOM, Motorola, and Harris equipment.
  • Experience with relevant systems such as BASIS and GENESIS.
  • A solid understanding of current installation procedures and field training.
  • The ability to clearly articulate technical procedures and site survey results.
  • Strong knowledge of tactical systems and the ability to respond to comprehensive tactical requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Adherence to security and safety standards, as well as applicable communications policies.
  • Independence in performing specialized installations, modifications, and upgrades.
  • Capability to troubleshoot and resolve tier 1 and tier 2 equipment issues.
  • A willingness to undertake extended travel in challenging environments.
  • Eligibility for weapons training and medical clearance for travel.
  • Ability to work at heights and complete necessary safety training.
