Cybersecurity Technical Project Specialist

SilverEdge is seeking a dedicated team to oversee and manage technical initiatives that support mission-critical operations. The organization requires expertise in technical project management that encompasses data analysis, information security research, data integration, software assessment, and graphical representation across various projects utilizing enterprise IT systems. The team will engage in technical projects across sectors including finance, telecommunications, media, and energy.

Responsibilities

  • • Proven experience conducting risk evaluations and assessments on cloud-based infrastructures and hybrid systems, including Java applications.
  • • Proven experience analyzing vulnerability assessments using tools such as Rapid 7, Web Inspect, and AppDetective.
  • • Proven experience in developing, implementing, and sustaining security frameworks utilizing both Linux and Windows environments.
  • • Proven experience in creating, implementing, and maintaining security frameworks for HADOOP Ecosystems.
  • • Proven experience assisting in the design, engineering, and development of highly secure systems based on Amazon Web Services.
  • • Proven experience in auditing and monitoring systems using various tools, including Splunk or similar metrics solutions.
  • • Proven experience in ongoing security monitoring and developing remediation strategies.
  • • Proven experience participating in architectural design and reviews.
  • • Proven experience utilizing XACTA and Microsoft Office.

Security Clearance: Active, in-scope US Government issued Top Secret Clearance with FS Poly. Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is mandatory.
Qualifications

  • • Proven experience adhering to the organization's Risk Management Framework.
  • • Proven experience in Linux administration.
  • • Familiarity with multiple cloud service providers such as Azure, Oracle, Google, or similar.
  • Certifications:
  • • Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification
  • • Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
