Key Responsibilities:

As a Lead Cybersecurity Solutions Architect, you will design, implement, and sustain intricate systems and infrastructure that bolster business operations. You will deploy strategies to proactively counter cyber threats to client networks.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure our systems and infrastructure align with security, scalability, and performance standards.
  • Diagnosing and resolving complex system challenges, including performance and availability issues.
  • Providing recommendations to enhance overall security posture to senior leadership.
  • Planning and executing system upgrades, patches, and migrations.
  • Formulating and maintaining disaster recovery plans and procedures.
  • Establishing and implementing system monitoring and alerting strategies.
  • Mentoring and training junior team members.
  • Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with IC, DoD, and NIST Risk Management Framework directives and security accreditation processes.
  • Assessing the effectiveness of security controls within IT projects.
  • Evaluating potential system security vulnerabilities and taking appropriate corrective, mitigation, and recovery actions.
  • Researching, analyzing, and providing insights on concerning security trends and patterns in customer support requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Must possess an active TS/SCI w/Polygraph DoD Security Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in mathematics, telecommunications, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science with 7-10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong background in IT system and application engineering.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while effectively managing multiple tasks simultaneously; coordinating resources and ensuring scheduled objectives are met.
  • Experience with certification testing, Risk Management Framework (RMF), information assurance tools, DoD STIG, and vulnerability assessment.
  • DoD 8570 certification meeting IAT Level II is required.
  • Experience with modern Windows, LINUX, network operating systems, databases, and virtual computing, including command line configurations.
  • Knowledge of IDS - intrusion detection solutions.
  • Experience with the implementation of counter-measures or mitigating controls.
  • Understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
  • Must be able to multi-task, work independently and collaboratively, share workloads, and adapt to sudden shifts in project priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Perl).
  • Familiarity with Elastic, including Logstash and Kibana concepts.
  • Experience with VMWare infrastructure, including vCenter and ESXi configuration and maintenance.
  • Experience and knowledge of vulnerability management, including scanning, vulnerability reviews, and mitigation.
  • Knowledge of network devices (routers and switches), TCP/UDP traffic, firewall technologies, IDS technologies, proxy technologies, and antivirus, spam, and spyware solutions.
