About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic After School Program Instructor to join our team at Edventuremore. As an Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality educational programs to students in our after-school programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching and Curriculum Development: Design and deliver engaging lesson plans and activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our students.
  • Classroom Management: Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a seamless and supportive experience for all.
  • Program Evaluation and Improvement: Continuously assess and refine our programs to ensure they meet the evolving needs of our students and community.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent, and one of the following: an AA degree, completion of 48 semester units in college, or successful completion of the Instructional Assistant exam administered by the Alameda County Office of Education.
  • Skills and Qualities: A passion for working with children, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, creativity, flexibility, and a strong sense of responsibility and dependability.
